Hamotzi Mural

This mural, on the alley-side of Bibi's Bakery & Cafe in the Pico-Robertson neighborhood of Los Angeles, reads "Hamotzi lechem min ha-aretz" — Who brings forth bread from the earth — the Hebrew blessing over a meal.

The mural was made possible by the WORD Grant, a project of American Jewish University’s Institute for Jewish Creativity, a program supported through a generous Cutting Edge Grant from the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles. WORD's Artist Grants, Bruce Geller Memorial Prizes, are made possible by the late Jeanette Geller in memory of her husband Bruce.
