Google Exodus

Aish.com enlisted Shoot East to produce a video telling the story of the Israelites' Exodus from Egypt through social media in time for Passover. Shoot East brought me in to create all of the webpages and social media profiles, which they would then animate. Aish provided a script of what they wanted to happen, for example, Moses posting "My staff just turned into a snake." But as the information penned in the script would take up just a small portion of the screen, I filled the webpages with jokes and Easter eggs (Passover afikomens?). Look closely at the news headlines, Facebook ads, Google search results, and other bits for some hidden laughs. The video went viral, racking up over 2.5 million views, and an additional half a million for the Hebrew version.
