FAQ
How much does a custom bencher cost?
This totally depends on the contents of the bencher. In general, 250 benchers will cost anywhere from $1000 to $2000. The more content you include, the more pages that need to be designed, and the more pages that need to be printed. Some benchers feature entirely unique layout designs, while others use repeating page templates. Color and paper stock also affect price. Let's discuss your budget and what you have in mind for a better estimate.
How long does it take?
Allow six weeks before the wedding date. That gives us time to discuss what you want, draft some ideas, and design the full bencher. Leave a week to print and a week to ship. Rush orders will incur an appropriate increase in cost.
What do you need to start?
I need a complete list of the content you want to include, as well as a downpayment on the project. A partial list of possible prayers for inclusion can be found on the "What to Include" page. Generally, clear instructions like "Ashnkenazi nusach as per the ___ siddur" are fine. If I do not have a particular source to use as reference, I will ask you to provide that. If you would like to include any additional materials, like photographs or a personal statement, I will need those in an acceptable format. If you would like your bencher designed to match a pre-existing invitation, or use the wedding colors, I would need copies of that as well.
Do you design invitations, programs, and other printed materials as well?
Yes! Let me know what you're looking for and I'll let you know how I can help.
